Peak Clean - Terms and Conditions

At Peak Clean, we believe it is essential for our clients to be fully informed about our services and expectations. Please carefully review these terms and let us know if you have any questions or concerns. We recommend that you confirm you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions before we begin any service.

Binding Agreement Overview

These Terms and Conditions constitute a binding agreement between the property owner, referred to as the "client," and Peak Clean, including its owners, employees, and subcontractors, referred to as the "company." This agreement governs the provision of cleaning services for residential or commercial properties in exchange for payment.

By engaging with our services, you agree to the terms outlined herein. Peak Clean reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be accessible via our website, email communications, or included within quotes or invoice links.

Risks and Release of Liability

The technicians at Peak Clean are trained professionals who use industry-standard equipment and techniques to minimize any risk of damage during cleaning services. However, certain factors, such as poor maintenance, substandard materials, or environmental exposure, can contribute to potential damage. Clients are advised to address any pre-existing issues before service to reduce risks.

Peak Clean will not be held liable for damages caused by:

  • Improperly installed or loose materials, such as cladding, roof tiles, rusted/corroded steel roofing, windows, and gutters.
  • Pre-existing wood rot, construction defects, or low-quality materials.
  • Fading or discoloration exacerbated by cleaning processes, such as pressure washing.

Our team will document any pre-existing damage before commencing work. Photos and notes will be shared with the client as needed. If additional damage is identified during service, work will pause until the issue is reviewed and acknowledged by the client.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as accommodating as possible. However, we request at least 48 hours' notice by email, text or phone if you need to reschedule or cancel a booking.

If notice is not provided within this timeframe, or if our technicians are unable to access the property at the scheduled time, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total service price (including GST) will apply. We will attempt to contact you and allow a 30-minute grace period in cases of unforeseen delays.

Acknowledgements for Specific Services

Gutter Cleaning

Gutter cleaning is conducted using methods tailored to the accessibility of your roof, ensuring efficiency and safety. Our Gutter Vacuum service is designed to remove both large and small debris from the gutters. Please note, this service is not a pressure cleaning or polishing service.

If additional hand cleaning is required following the vacuum process, this will be assessed and quoted onsite. In cases of blocked downpipes, our team will make reasonable attempts to clear the obstruction using tools such as a “snake” or a garden hose. However, as we are not plumbers, we cannot guarantee the successful unblocking of downpipes.

It is important to note that attempting to vacuum a blockage can risk damaging the downpipes, such as causing them to collapse. For this reason, this practice is not included as part of our standard service. Our typical scope of work is limited to gutter vacuum only.

House Washing

Clients should be aware that pre-existing flaws, stains or oxidation on surfaces may become more noticeable after washing. Peak Clean is not liable for pre-existing conditions unless proven to be caused by negligence. Clients are advised to ensure all external electrical outlets and fixtures are turned off before service as a precaution.

Roof Cleaning

Our technicians perform visual inspections for basic roof issues, such as loose tiles or faulty seals. While we can address minor issues with prior agreement, clients should consult a licensed roofing professional for major concerns. Peak Clean is not a roofing company and does not assume liability for roof-related issues.
